University Canada West is a contemporary independent university located in the heart of vibrant Vancouver. Established in 2004, UCW offers a range of career-focused programs including the Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication, Associate of Arts and Master of Business Administration. Courses are offered at our downtown Vancouver campus and online too. Offering courses online brings flexibility to education, allowing those who may not have otherwise had the opportunity to gain respected qualifications.

University Canada West is honoured to be rated and ranked by a number of external parties and higher-education rating systems.

  • In September 2021, University Canada West (UCW) received an overall 5 Star rating from QS Stars higher education rating system. UCW is the third university in Canada, and the first in British Columbia, to receive a 5 Star rating from QS Stars. There are only a total of seven institutions in the United States and Canada that have received a 5 Star rating
  • University Canada West’s MBA and MBA Foundation programs are ranked #4 in ApplyBoard’s top 10 Canadian university programs.
  • CourseCompare included UCW on its list of Canada’s Best Online MBA Programs of 2022.
